DBP12KHA Series Wall Mount Panels

The 12-Port Wall Mount Panel is commonly used for zone distribution in horizontal cabling. However, Cat 6A panels are rarely seen on the market, primarily because both the TIA-568.2-D and ISO-11801 standards require all Cat 6A connections within the cabling to meet strict alien crosstalk limits—a compliance not mandated for Cat 5e or Cat 6. HCI’s DBP12KHA Series changes the game by meeting both Cat 6A “internal crosstalk” and “alien crosstalk” Component-Rated requirements. This breakthrough brings back the feasibility of group transits at consolidation points.

Patented Core - The Key to Easing Crosstalk
The DBP12KHA Series utilizes the same 6-pack module as the BP24KHA 19” patch panel and benefits from the same method to reduce fringing field effects. This helps control NEXT and FEXT, while minimizing reflections that could negatively impact Return Loss performance. Protected under US Patent 9,325,117 B1, this technique ensures separate circuits for odd and even ports, while preserving Component-Rated transmission performance.
Patented Geometry - Tackling Alien X’talk
Alien Crosstalk refers to distorted signals that interfere with each other from closely positioned cables. Traditional shoulder-to-shoulder panels fail to mitigate this issue because the ports are too close together, with the most severe interference happening where the jack and plug mate. HCI’s DBP12KHA Series utilize the US Patent No. 9,948,033 B1, incorporating interdigitated RJ-45 geometry to effectively minimize alien crosstalk and meet the TIA/ISO standards.
Magic Caps: Resist Alien X’talk Head-On
The interdigit RJ-45s effectively tackles 80% of Alien X'talk. However, the remaining 20%, which originates from the IDCs, still requires mitigation. To help with this, the Anti-EMI compound magic caps are positioned at the rear of the patch panel. These caps further reduce Alien X'talk at the exposed termination points where twisted pairs are exposed. The caps are designed to be sturdy, yet feature a flexible locking mechanism for easy release when required.
ETL Certified Component-Rated
For intermediation connections within the 90-meter horizontal cabling near work areas, a wall mount panel is an ideal solution. However, finding a Cat 6A certified wall mount panel can be challenging, as it must meet stringent standards for both internal crosstalk and unpredictable alien crosstalk. HCI’s DBP12KHA Series, ETL certified, delivers Cat 6A Component-Rated transmission and 4PPoE compatibility, meeting all Consolidation Point needs.
Roomy Design for Cat 6A Cable Ease
Installing Cat 6A cables can be a real challenge. They’re stiffer and thicker than Cat 6, and tight IDC spacing makes it hard to center cables and spread twisted pairs after stripping the jacket. The result? Sloppy terminations and annoying rework. HCI’s DBP12KHA Series solves this with a 2cm-wide IDC area, giving installers plenty of room to work with precision. Plus, the IDCs support both 110 and Krone tools, no need to worry about regional tool restrictions.
Taller 89D - Extra Clearance Where It Counts
The HCI DBP12KHA Wall Mount Panel can be installed on a wall or any industrial rack rails. It comes with an 89D bracket that securely holds the panel in place during cable punching. Since Cat 6A UTP cables are stiffer and larger than Cat 6, the 89D bracket used here is 22mm taller than the typical version, providing installers more space to route 12 bundled cables either in a single direction or partially upward and downward.
I.D. paper slides in, then locks
With a 1cm-wide writing area, it's easy to label ports clearly, or you can use an 8mm I.D. thermal transfer printers if you need to update things often. IT personnel can handle moves, adds, and changes without dealing with plastic covers getting in the way. And if you need to swap out papers for more details, the Slide-in mechanism lets you slide them in sideways, making it simple to lock them back into place and keep things organized.
