The KVA Series are unshielded punchdown-type keystone jacks with 90-degree cable entrance. The size will be the striking feature that catches your attention right away. To keep it small, we didn't trade off transmission. Through creative engineering, we were able to achieve both the highest transmission requirements ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Cat 6A and ISO/IEC 11801 Cat 6a while still having great installation experience.
Patented Transmission Design
Patented under US 9391405 B1, the KVA Series incorporates an Impedance-Matching Technique to prevent signal reflections and reduce crosstalk. This approach is applied to the contact sets where the RJ-45 plug is mated. By controlling the impedance, both transmitted and received voltages are well-balanced. This helps minimize unwanted signals induced while combining compensation circuitry to improve the equality of magnitude and phase.
Certified Quality
In 2015, the KVA Series received certification from "Intertek" for electrical and transmission quality. Since then, ongoing quarterly inspections have been conducted. The KVA Series is included in the ETL maintenance program to ensure connecting hardware performance. Therefore, maintaining consistent transmission quality from design to production stages secures the "ETL Verified" mark, ensuring uniformity across all batches without any variations.

It's commonly known Cat 6A cabling is standardized for 10GBASE-T. Standards address the importance of considering both internal crosstalk (NEXT, RL, etc.) and external crosstalk (PSANEXT, PSAFEXT). In practice, many people concentrate only on "internal", overlooking "external". This oversight poses a significant risk as signals operate at freq. up to 500MHz, and ignoring alien interference could lead to increased BER and network downtime.
User-Friendly
The importance of intuitive design in minimizing labor cost cannot be overstated. While keystone jacks may seem similar, there are nuances that make a difference. The cone IDC facilitates quick lacing of twisted pairs, while the Wire Cap features a flexible locking fixture for easy press-down and release. The EZ-Plier is custom-designed to work with the KVA Series. Crimping the wire-seated jack allows for simultaneous cutting and termination of all 8 wires.
90watt Running Through
The KVA Series supports IEEE 802.3bt PoE Type 4 for remote powering. Cat 6a 10G/s proves more than capable for Wi-Fi 6 and omnidirectional cameras, in terms of both transmission and power capabilities. Many are unaware of the potential backfire caused by the disengagement of plugs, which can damage RJ-45 connectivity. Meeting the IEC 60512-99-002 standard ensures regulatory compliance for the KVA Series for this matter.

Across diverse mounting fixtures, the shared goal is clear: smaller is better. The KVA Series is designed to be half-height & slim, enabling dense loading on decorators in WA or 48-port 1RU patch panels in TR, ensuring maximum usability in LAN setups.
