Flex-Tube
In dense configurations where clearance for patch cords connecting to RJ-45 ports is limited, having the shortest possible “Plug+Boot” design is essential to fit within tight spaces. However, that’s just the beginning. The next challenge arises when sharp cable turns after the boot risk premature bending, which can lead to intermittent connectivity or even network downtime caused by signal reflection from improper bends tighter than 4 times the cable's O.D..
HCI’s Flex-Tube Patch Cords solve this issue. Featuring a flexible arming tube that extends seamlessly from the boot, these cords allow you to control cable turns as desired. The tube provides free-directional adjustment, and once set, the angle remains fixed, preventing overbending.
Each patch cord is 100% in-house tested using the FLUKE DSX-8000 for Cat 6 Patch Cord Test Limits, guaranteeing component-rated performance.
