The "TIA-568.2-D/ISO-11801 Cat 6 Patch Cord" assembly process is never simple. To get there, quality plugs and excellent workmanship are required.

Cat 6 F/UTP and S/FTP solid cables have larger foamed insulations and require more space to fit into the plug. The 8-position groove is made to accept from 1.15mm to 1.20mm insulated conductors.

HCI provides you with two options: single-piece type and two-piece type.
If you are an experienced installer, single-piece will best suit your needs because it saves material and labor costs. And if a plug with “loading bar” makes your jobs easier, a two-piece plug is the more suitable choice.

The 3-prong blades enhance the certainty of piercing both solid and stranded cable so excellent conductivity can be assured.
