While Cat 6A represents the peak of copper cabling performance, copper has a unique advantage fiber just can’t match—power delivery. This ensures copper cabling remains indispensable outside data centers, enabling both data transmission and power delivery via one twisted-pair cable. That’s right, we’re talking about PoE. To hit the 100-meter max distance, you need Cat 6A 23AWG solid cables or better. Standard RJ-45 plugs just won’t cut it—they’re too cramped for those thicker wires. Patented Design
Protected under U.S. Patent 10,490,960 B1, this innovative 3-directional termination design ensures efficient cable organization between the IDCs and Wire-Organizor. The patented method routes the Green and Blue pairs through an underpass ramp to forward slots, while the Orange and Brown pairs take the overpass to side slots. This arrangement accommodates all 4 pairs in a compact space while maintaining balanced circuit performance.

Whether your MPTL setup requires a short 0.5-meter run or stretches up to 90 meters, the 88TSK Series is built to handle it all. Designed for Tight Spaces
High-density network equipment demands strict dimensional limits, requiring RJ-45 plugs to be less than 14.3mm in width to avoid port-to-port interference. HCI's 88TSK Series meets this need with a compact 14.0mm width. Additionally, its patented 'LATCH-PRESSER' is securely riveted to a rail, allowing IT personnel to insert their index finger into the space and use the lever to depress the latch tab from behind, simplifying routine network maintenance.
Extra Security Function
HCIās 88TSK Series offers a smart, patented port-security solution with its innovative "LATCH PRESSERā. By sliding it along the track and detaching it at the end, unauthorized personnel cannot unplug the connectionāonly 2mm of the latch remains exposed, making it nearly impossible to depress for release. IT staff, however, can easily restore functionality by reattaching the "LATCH PRESSER" from behind for regular operation.

While many patch cords and modular plugs are labeled ā4PPoE,ā not all truly conform to PoE Type 4 standards when powering remote devices. To ensure compliance, the plugs used in patch cords must be third-party verified for IEEE 802.3bt to handle 90W power delivery and IEC 60512-99-002 for mechanical performance under load. The 88TSK Series is one of the few products verified by Intertek and is consistently listed in the ETL directory.
Solid Grounding, Secured All Around
Unlike others, HCIās 88TSK Series features a 360-degree grounding design with a 10mm contact area for superior EMI immunity. The outer boot isnāt just for looksāit securely wraps the die-cast plugs, locking everything in place from every angle. It also helps guide cable bends and provides strain relief. The boot has a funnel-shaped inside that narrows along the axis, accommodating from slim 26AWG stranded cables to thicker 23AWG solid cables.
