LKHBD Series Keystone Jacks

LKHBD is the sister product of the LKHB Series, featuring an additional spring shutter. While it may not be the first spring-loaded shuttered jack on the market, it stands out by eliminating any gaps at the top of the jack housing. What does this mean for you? First, it looks better. Second, the absence of gaps ensures the pillar that serves as the central axis for the shutter stays secure. Patented Transmission Design
Thanks to US Patent 9,325,117 B1, which reveals the technique we've refined over the years to maintain impedance matching. With impedance tightly controlled, we can accurately calculate the inductance and capacitance required for compensation, ensuring they are balanced in the same magnitude but opposite phase – the characteristic inherent in the mating of RJ-45 connectors.
Patented Mechanical Design
The two-hinge covers that press the wire-loaded cap down were first developed by Pouyet S.A. in the late '90s and have remained one of the most efficient methods for terminating twisted pairs. While “Thick” Cat 6A cables weren’t around back then, they are now. Our US Patent 11,870,195 B2, featuring a 3-stage termination, pays tribute to Pouyet’s invention by solving issues that didn't exist at the time.

We’ve always known that achieving a robust "permanent link" or "channel" test margin depends on top-notch "Component-Rated" performance. That’s why we designed the circuit and mechanism together, ensuring they are in sync and tested with various network analyzers. Mitigation of Alien Crosstalk
Don’t ignore external interference, as it can be a major factor in causing downtime for your 10G network. Alien crosstalk has a high potential to raise the Bit Error Rate (BER), which is why TIA and ISO standards stress the importance of managing it. Don’t just depend on keystone markings. With the rapid growth of AI and IoT integration, the number of PoE-enabled devices is set to rise. The demand for higher speeds and greater power will only increase. Ensure that all your RJ-45 connectivity meets IEEE 802.3bt and IEC 60512-99-002 PoE standards, and take advantage of MPTL, which simplifies connections by reducing the need for additional wiring.
Cutting-Edge Shutter Design
While a shutter jack may not be required in IT rooms, but it’s useful in work areas to keep out objects and insects. If you’ve had nightmares with jacks where the shutter gets jammed during RJ-45 insertion or causes connectivity issues when pulling the patch cord at an angle, such problems won’t occur with the LKHBD Series as we’ve addressed these concerns.
Allow for a minimal bending radius
The LKHBD is at least 10mm to 12mm shorter than most standard jacks on the market today. Why does this matter? The allowable bending radius is four times the cable diameter. For Cat 6A UTP, this requires a horizontal space of at least 28mm to 34mm from the bottom of the jack. A shorter jack always offers more room in confined spaces behind walls.
