Patented Transmission Design
The primary source of electromagnetic interference happens where the modular plug blades connect with the modular jack contacts. The RJ-45 interface, with its long history from telecom to networking, requires careful noise cancellation due to its parallel structure. The LKVAD Series is backed by US Patent 9,391,405 B1 and allows for better control of signal reflection. It also reduces NEXT and improves data integrity.
Patented Mechanical Design
Right-angled toolless jacks typically have a single hinge that bears concentrated strain while piercing Cat 6A stiff insulated conductors, making durability and reusability crucial. Full Power over Ethernet
While IEEE 802.3bt certification by the Ethernet Alliance is vital for PSE and PD to determine the power class delivered after cable attenuation, IEC 60512-99-002 is the standard that regulates whether the RJ-45 connection supports PoE Type 4, which provides remote powering up to 71.3W at the PD.
